This Kinder Bueno fudge is sure to be your new favourite dessert recipe! It's similar to the viral 3-ingredient TikTok fudge but with added Bueno pieces. It's rich, chocolatey and super easy to make.

After making my Nutella fudge and Milky Bar fudge recipes, I just knew Kinder Bueno fudge had to be next on my list!

It's an iconic chocolate bar that tastes even more delicious in fudge form. If you've ever seen the viral 3-ingredient TikTok Kinder fudge recipe, this is just like that one but even better! Not only does it contain Kinder chocolate but it also has Kinder Bueno pieces inside and on top, giving it lots of extra hazelnut flavour and wafer crunch.

    Ingredients

Here's everything you'll need for this recipe.

    • Milk chocolate: I used milk chocolate as the base for my fudge recipes but you can use any kind of chocolate that you like. Semi-sweet and white chocolate will also work well in equal amounts. You could use only Kinder chocolate if you like but it'll work out to be quite expensive.
    • Condensed milk: Sweetened condensed milk is what helps to create that soft, creamy texture that fudge is known for. You'll need one 397g tin or 14oz for this recipe. Make sure to learn about the difference between condensed milk and evaporated milk if you're new to fudge.
    • Kinder chocolate: Kinder chocolate bars are great for adding extra flavour to the fudge. I also used some pieces on top for decoration. I used 6 medium Kinder bars to get 126g in total.
    • Kinder Bueno bars: We can't make this recipe without the iconic Kinder Bueno bars. I used 4 full bars to make a total of 8 wafer sticks, mixing some into the fudge and adding the rest on top.

    Equipment

    • 8x8-inch tin: This tin works great for fudge. It gives it the perfect height, and you can get up to 30 small pieces out of the recipe. If you prefer thinner pieces, you can use a different tin such as a 9x12-inch or even a loaf tin.
    • Baking paper: It's very important to line your tin with baking or parchment paper before adding the fudge mixture. If you don't, you'll have a tricky time trying to get it out! You can cut the baking paper to size or you can leave some hanging over the edges, which makes lifting it out later super easy.
    • Heatproof bowl: A heatproof bowl is important because otherwise, your bowls may crack or melt when you're heating the ingredients. This has happened to me in the past, so trust me on this one! I recommend heat-safe glass or stainless steel bowls.
    • Saucepan: If you choose to make your Kinder fudge in a double boiler (which I highly recommend you do), you'll need a saucepan to go along with your heatproof bowl. The bowl should sit comfortably on top of the saucepan without touching the water, and there should be enough space for the steam to rise and heat the contents of the bowl.
    • Wooden spoon: I tend to use a wooden spoon for adding my fudge mix-ins because it's so sturdy and always gets the job done. You can use a spatula or metal spoon if you prefer.
    • Rubber spatula: A rubber spatula is not essential but it makes patting the fudge into the tin SO much easier! When using a wooden or metal spoon to press the fudge into the tin, it tends to stick and drag, but a rubber or silicone spatula enables you to simply pat it into place with ease.
    • Sharp knife: Last but not least, you'll need a sharp knife to cut your fudge into squares or slices once it's set.

How to make Kinder Bueno Fudge

Step 1: Line an 8x8-inch tin with baking paper. It's a good idea to do this before you begin so that it's ready for your fudge mixture to go into.

Step 2: To a large heatproof bowl, add 450g milk chocolate, 3 bars of Kinder chocolate (63g) and 1 tin of condensed milk (397g).

Step 3: Place the bowl over a saucepan containing a small amount of simmering water to make a double boiler. The bowl should be a bit larger than the saucepan.

Step 4: Put the saucepan and bowl over a low heat on the stove and stir gently but often until the chocolate has melted. The mixture should look thick and glossy.

Step 5: Remove the fudge from the heat. Break two full Kinder Bueno bars (4 sticks) into pieces and stir them into the mixture.

Step 6: Transfer your Bueno fudge to your lined tin and use a spatula to press it down into place.

Step 7: While the fudge is still wet, top it with two more Kinder Bueno bars and 3 Kinder chocolate bars. You can gently press them into place with your fingers, but be careful not to move them around too much or they will start to melt.

Step 8: Refrigerate for 2 hours until firm to the touch. Remove it from the tin and peel off the baking paper from the bottom. Then cut into squares, as large or as small as you like. I cut mine into 16 because I like extra chunky slices.

    Top tips

    • Heat low and slow- you don't need to boil the ingredients like you would with traditional fudge. Using high heat can prevent condensed milk fudge from setting.
    • Use both Kinder chocolate and Kinder Bueno pieces for the best flavour and texture.
    • Work quickly because condensed milk fudge starts setting quite fast once you remove it from the heat.
    • Add the toppings while the 3-ingredient fudge is still wet so they don't fall off when you cut into it.

    FAQs

How long will Kinder Bueno fudge last for?

Because of the wafer, this fudge won't last quite as long as some of my other fudge recipes. I recommend storing it in an airtight container at room temperature and it should last up to 1 week.

    Can it be frozen?

Yes, Kinder fudge can be frozen for up to 1 month. Pop the fudge into airtight containers and or wrap the whole slab tightly in clingfilm. Defrost on a plate or wire rack at room temperature.

    Is this recipe gluten-free?

Kinder chocolate itself is gluten-free but Kinder Bueno bars are not. If you omit the Bueno bars and add extra Kinder chocolate, this can totally be a gluten-free recipe.
