It's super simple to make with just 4 ingredients and you only need about 5-10 minutes of prep time. Just whack your ingredients in a pan and melt them, spread the mixture into a tin then sit back and let the fridge do the rest of the work for you. It couldn't be easier.

Ingredients
Here's what you'll need to make Terry's Chocolate Orange fudge...
- Condensed milk: The secret weapon for quick, easy fudge. This adds sweetness and helps achieve that smooth, creamy texture without the hassle of boiling sugar.
- Milk chocolate: I decided to use milk chocolate instead of melting Terry's Chocolate Oranges into the fudge itself. Not only is this cheaper but it also helps the fudge to set quicker and more firmly. The orange flavour from the extract is more than enough so don't worry!
- Orange extract: Just 1 teaspoon will give our fudge that classic chocolate orange flavour, although you can use an extra teaspoon if you want a super strong flavour.
- Terry's Chocolate Orange Minis: Add these on top of your fudge before it sets. I like to place them in 4 rows of 4 so that one piece of fudge can have a whole mini orange segment on top. If you can't find them, you can just chop up a regular Terry's Chocolate Orange.
Equipment Notes
- Saucepan: For melting the chocolate and condensed milk together. I prefer doing this over the stove to reduce the risk of burning but you can use a heatproof bowl and pop it in the microwave if you prefer. Just make sure to take it out and stir it every 30-40 seconds to prevent any mishaps.
- 8x8-inch tin: This is my preferred tin size for fudge as it'll yield plenty of servings while keeping your slices nice and thick. Any similar-sized tin or tub will work, and in a pinch, you can even use a loaf tin or some cupcake cases.
- Baking paper: This makes removing and cutting the fudge much easier. I recommend leaving a bit hanging over each edge so you can just lift the whole slab out.
- Utensils: You'll need a wooden spoon or silicone spatula to mix the ingredients together, a teaspoon to measure, and a sharp knife to cut.

How to make Terry's Chocolate Orange Fudge
Step 1: Line an 8x8-inch tin with baking paper, leaving some overhang. Set it to one side for now.
Step 2: Break 450g of milk chocolate into pieces then add it to a saucepan along with 1 tin (397g) of sweetened condensed milk and 1 teaspoon of orange extract.
Step 3: Place the saucepan over low heat on the stove and stir gently until the chocolate has fully melted. The mixture will look thick and shiny.

Step 4: Remove it from the heat and transfer the fudge mixture to your lined tin. Spread it out evenly into place.
Step 5: Top with 16 Terry's Chocolate Orange Mini's, placing them in 4 rows of 4.

Step 6: Let the fudge cool to room temperature then put it in the fridge for 2-3 hours until firm.
Step 7: Once set, remove the fudge from the tin and cut it into 16 squares using the chocolate orange segments as a guide. Then just sit back and relax and enjoy your fudge!
Top Tips
- While the fudge is still wet, sprinkle over some orange zest or orange cake sprinkles for a pop of colour.
- If you're in a rush, you can freeze the fudge for 1 hour to help it set quickly.
- Milk chocolate can be swapped for white or dark chocolate. You can also use 450g of Terry's Chocolate Orange but as I mentioned earlier in the post, it doesn't set as firmly and it's a lot more expensive.
- For cleaner slices, warm your knife in hot water before cutting the fudge. Wipe it clean between cuts.
Frequently Asked Questions
If stored properly in an airtight container in the fridge, this fudge will keep well for up to 2 weeks. I usually find it's at its best within the first week though, and it's hard to resist it for longer than that anyway!
Yes, you can freeze it for up to 3 months. Cut it into squares first, then place them in an airtight container or freezer bag. Separating fudge with small pieces of baking paper will prevent them from sticking together as they freeze. To thaw, transfer to the fridge overnight or let it sit out at room temperature for an hour or two.
Condensed milk fudge is pretty failproof so if it hasn't set properly, it probably just needs a little bit longer in the fridge. This can also happen if you don't let the chocolate melt fully when mixing it with the condensed milk.
